Southern California rock group Kiev isn’t about brevity. The band’s second EP, Be Gone Dull Cage & Others, came out this week, boasting three tracks all over five minutes long. “3rnd,” the (relatively) shortest number on the disc, is a sonic journey, pulling the listener through a bluesy, indie rock melody that is equal parts Wilco and Pulp.
